1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Creative Content Crafts Inc. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") concerning your access to and use of the Co.Actor Fact Checker website and Chrome extension (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

3. Description of Service

Co.Actor Fact Checker is a browser extension and web service that uses artificial intelligence to extract factual claims from web content and verify them against reliable sources. The Service provides:

• Automated extraction of factual claims from selected text
• AI-powered verification of claims using web search
• Confidence scores and source citations for each verdict
• History tracking and analytics dashboard

4. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

5. Pricing and Payment

5.1 Free Tier

Free accounts receive 20 fact-checking credits per month. Unused free credits expire at the end of each calendar month and do not roll over.

5.2 Credit Packs (Pay-As-You-Go)

Purchased credits do not expire and can be used at any time. Credit packs are available at the following rates:

• 100 credits - $2.00 USD
• 500 credits - $8.00 USD (20% savings)

5.3 Unlimited Subscription

The Unlimited plan is $4.99 USD per month and requires you to provide your own API keys for OpenRouter and Perplexity. You are responsible for any charges from these third-party API providers.

5.4 Automatic Renewal

The Unlimited subscription automatically renews each month at the then-current price ($4.99 USD/month at the time of writing) until you cancel. You will be charged on the same date each month as your original purchase. We will send you an email reminder at least 7 days before each renewal with the amount to be charged and instructions for how to cancel.

5.5 Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By making a purchase, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service. Prices are displayed in USD and may be subject to applicable taxes depending on your location. Your payment method will be charged at the time of purchase or renewal.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel your Unlimited subscription at any time from your account settings page. Cancellation is effective at the end of your current billing period — you will retain access to the Unlimited plan until then and will not be charged for future periods.

After cancellation, your account will revert to the Free tier with 20 fact-checks per month. Any purchased credit packs remain in your account and do not expire.

We will send you a confirmation email when your subscription is cancelled. If you have difficulty cancelling, contact us at support@co.actor and we will process the cancellation promptly.

7. Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all purchases. If you are not satisfied with our Service for any reason, you can request a full refund within 14 days of your purchase date. No questions asked, no conditions.

This applies to both credit pack purchases and Unlimited subscription payments (including renewals).

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe upon intellectual property rights
• Transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Abuse, harass, or harm other users
• Use automated systems to access the Service beyond normal use
• Resell or redistribute the Service without permission

9. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Creative Content Crafts Inc. and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any content you submit through the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the fact-checking service.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee that fact-check results will be 100% accurate. AI-generated verdicts should be used as a starting point for research, not as definitive proof. Always verify important claims through multiple sources.

11. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL CREATIVE CONTENT CRAFTS INC., ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in your settings.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
